Like all healthcare professionals, A.M.I.C.O. doctors found themselves facing this virus in their hospitals and clinics throughout the country. In addition to the contribution of each one of us, we asked ourselves how we could contribute as Association to the assistance of our Nation during this emergency. This up to date page is intended to collect all the initiatives that A.M.I.C.O. is and will provide with the precious support of its volunteer professionals, other voluntary organizations, public authorities and private donors:
1. “Chiama un A.M.I.C.O.”
A psychological and/or spiritual support service. Psychologists, counsellors and Christian pastors make their professionalism available to all health professionals involved in the Coronavirus emergency.
2. “Beth-Campo”
Born as a project of "Beth-Shalom ONLUS "that in collaboration with the Civil Protection, the Italian Red Cross and the municipal, provincial and regional institutions, offers hospitality for homeless people not affected by COVID-19. A.M.I.C.O. in particular, provides healthcare support by clinical monitoring guests' conditions and reporting suspicious cases to the competent health authorities. Even these people will be now able to say #Istayhome.
3. Collaboration with “Samaritan’s Purse”
Interpreting service provided by our medical students and our health workers at the field hospital of the homonymous Evangelical NGO in Cremona.
